1 When the robot is manufactured, the manufacturer don't know what it will excaltly do.
And on the contrary. When the original work is not needed, the robot can be programmed to to work for other tasks.
Normally this will need new sensors, new actuators and top level programming, but the basic robot remains the same.

2 The robots moves itself or manipulate objects mechanically.

3 The robot do productive work.
They replace humans in production.
They do not need continuous supervising of humans.

4. The robots has sensors, which affect to operation of the robot.

There are very few real robots according to these definitions.

ABB robots, like IRB340(Flexicker), belongs to this category.
The most "robots" are designed for one kind of work.

Our competition robots do not fit to this category, but the definitions are needed only for statistics.
